It’s soup weather

We’ll admit it: We love summer, but 2016 was a bit … scorching for our tastes. The silver lining? We’re even happier than usual that fall is here. We love the crisp chill in the air, the chance to put on our favorite fall fashion accoutrements, and the fact that a hot cup of oolong tea tastes even better when it’s a little cool out.

We also love soup.

From chicken noodle to pho, it’s all gravy (soupy?) to us. So we collected a bunch of yummy-looking soups that will taste even better alongside a cup of oolong tea. And we’re sharing them with you.

Chicken Pot Pie Soup. This one feeds your soul. Takes only 35 minutes, and feeds 8-10 people.

Slow Cooker Black Bean Soup. Super easy in the slow cooker, and naturally vegan. (We love the idea of avocado on top, too.)

White Bean and Ham Soup. A melt-in-your-mouth combination of ham hocks and cannellini beans.

Easy Wonton Soup. Made with miso paste in the broth, this one’s just as good as takeout, and easy to make.

Japanese Clear Onion Soup. Button mushrooms, scallions, and sriracha make this a perfect appetizer or light meal.

Egg Drop Soup. Did you know that you can make egg drop soup at home in about 10 minutes? Plus, the hint of ginger pairs perfectly with Ginger Lily Oolong.

French Onion Soup. Beef broth, carmelized onions and lots of cheese make this soup really rich and really yummy.

Beef Barley Soup. A hearty soup full of slow-simmered beef, barley, and veggies.
