How to Cold Brew + 25% Off Our Faves

Warmer weather is here, and that means lovely picnics and walks by the beach and outdoor concerts. Our favorite way to stay hydrated in style? Cold-brewed oolong tea. Cold brewing is an excellent preparation method for warmer weather, since it doesn’t require any heat.

Here’s how you do it:

  1. Take one of Tea Ave’s prepared tea bags (3g) or prepare your own and place it in a cold brew bottle such as the Chillaxer filled with 500ml of filtered or spring water.
  2. Put the bottle in the fridge for up to 8 hours (exact timing depends on personal preference, but we find 6 to 8 hours works best; we don’t recommend brewing for more than 8 hours).
  3. Remove tea bag.
  4. Enjoy your yummy tea!

Cold brewing allows teas to retain a high percent of the catechins that many oolong drinkers seek for their health benefits. Which means it’s good for you in addition to being convenient and delicious.

This spring we’re loving cold-brewed Wenshan Baochung and Oriental Beauty, and right now those two flavors are 25% off until the end of May; no code needed. Bottoms up!
