Merry Christmas to tea lovers everywhere! We’re relaxing with family (and a gaiwan full of LiShan Oolong) and we hope that you’re having a peaceful holiday full of joy and good cheer, too.
We wanted to take this opportunity to tell you about our recent collaboration with Alexis of Teaspoons and Petals. Alexis is a tea enthusiast (certified in the Foundations of Tea, Levels 1 and 2) who teaches culinary classes, develops tea-infused recipes for restaurants, and blogs about her tea adventures with gorgeous photographs. Through Alexis’s classes and events, we’ve gotten to share Tea Ave’s Wenshan Baochung Oolong with the tea community, and we’ve had a blast! Alexis digs our Wenshan Baochung, calling out the “fresh, floral notes” as “intoxicating.” (Thanks, Alexis! We’re partial to it, too.)
In October, we teamed up to provide tea for the Afternoon Tea Pop-Up at Washington Square Park in Philadelphia to benefit the FEED Supper. FEED calls on communities to provide meals to those in need. We’re incredibly proud to say that we were able to help in donating 2,454 meals to hungry people – a true success that led us to continue striving to find good causes to join up with all year long.
Happy Holidays to tea lovers everywhere!
